My daughter typically wears a 3T-4T (she will be 4 years old in a month), and we went with the size 2 based on the measurements. It was a perfect fit, and no alterations were needed. Also, you will need to steam the skirt out of the package - this was a two person job and time consuming because of the multiple tiers, but it transformed the look of the dress. Don't wait until the day of your event to do this! Lastly, the bows come separate with pins to secure to the dress - they are not easy to secure the pins, but I like that there is an option to use them or not, and you can choose where on the dress to place them.

My daughter looked STUNNING in this dress and WON a State Title at her Pageant! BUT, we did have some issues, the dress came with one BLUE stitch holding the under breast part to the sheer cover on the top. VERY noticeable and not professional looking at all! Also, once removed that was the only thing holding it up apparently it was not attached anywhere else so we had to add stitching to keep it up so it wouldn't slide down her belly! I believe with just a little more attention to detail the dress would have EASILY gained 5 stars from me! I do love JJS house and have ordered several dresses from here and will continue to do so!

this dress is stunning. I used the customise service as we were between sizes and it fits like a glove. we took a risk on the colour from the swatch on screen and its even better than I expected. I would 100% recommend this dress to anyone. it will need a steam to removed the creases from shipping but that is all it needs. there was a small delay in shipping as it was sent back for quality control at their end which was even more impressive as they did not send a sub standard dress. it was only sent once perfect. .
